Eventful gives your supporters a sense that their efforts can pay off if they engage and recruit.  The site is deisgned to allow people within a given area to vote to bring a band, comedian, or candidate to their area.  An organization could recruit their members to collectivly bring a candidate for an event co-hosted by their organization.

Eventful Politics was recently released to encourage and help organize grassroots events.  The tool would be more helpful to individual based efforts but can be used for organizations to broadcast their upcoming events and encourage participation or drive traffic to the site.
